Mobile or Retractable Tunnels

Mobile or retractable tunnels meet the most varied needs: in the smaller sizes, they can be used as simple connecting roofs and, in the bigger sizes, they can become full sheds. They consist of a series of trusses made of galvanized steel that are connected to each other by pantographs that allow the structure to open and close by sliding on wheels on the ground or on aerial tracks. The roof and sides are made of a strong, class M2 fireproof PVC tarpaulin that perfectly conforms to the movement of the structure. They are available in a variety of colors.

The advantages offered by mobile or retractable tunnels make them irreplaceable: they need no specific flooring, are constructed quickly and, if necessary, it is extremely easy to move them from one place to another; but, most important, they require no particular building permits. Tunnels can be built with a double or single-slope roof; supported frontally on a building, supported laterally with one “lame” side or entirely self-supporting without being attached to any fixed structure. All the roofs are designed in conformity with the CNR-UNI 10011/86 standard.
